Penn State’s football team will open its 2020-21 season in a road game against Indiana at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The contest will be broadcast on FS1.
The Big Ten had initially canceled its 2020-21 season because of concerns regarding the coronavirus before ultimately deciding to delay the start until late October.
This will be the 24th all-time game between the teams. Penn State, ranked No. 9 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, owns a 22-1 mark in the previous 23.
Last season, Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford contributed three touchdowns and running back Journey Brown ran for 100 yards and a score in a 34-27 victory.
The Big Ten schedule kicks off Oct. 23 when No. 16 Wisconsin hosts Illinois at 8 p.m. Friday.
In addition to Penn State at Indiana, the Oct. 24 Big Ten schedule includes Nebraska at Ohio State, Michigan at Michigan State, Rutgers vs. Michigan State, Iowa vs. Purdue and Maryland vs. Northwestern.
