Jung Ho Kang finished his final Grapefruit League game at LECOM Park the same way he started the spring: with a home run.

The third baseman hit his seventh homer of spring training in the first inning off Andrew Cashner, as the Pittsburgh Pirates tied the Baltimore Orioles, 1-1, on Sunday.

Kang’s seven spring homers led major league players and was the most hit by a Pirate since Matt Hague had seven in 2012.

Trevor Williams and Nick Kingham each pitched three scoreless innings. Steven Brault surrendered the tying run in the eighth, when Chance Sisco hit a leadoff double to right and scored on Zach Vincej’s sacrifice fly.

The Pirates will play the Houston Astros in a pair of exhibition games at Minute Maid Park, beginning Monday. Richard Rodriguez will start against Forrest Whitley in the first game, and Felipe Vazquez, Keone Kela, Kyle Crick and Nick Burdi also are scheduled to pitch.
