Greensburg Salem alum Brennan Marion joins UNLV football staff
Trying to keep up with Brennan Marion as a coach is like trying to defend him when he was a big-play wide receiver at Tulsa.
He is on the move again. Catch him if you can.
Marion, a Greensburg Salem graduate and former Pitt wide receivers coach, was announced Tuesday as the offensive coordinator at UNLV.
He also will coach quarterbacks.

The originator of the Go-Go offense, which he first implemented at Howard, Marion most recently was the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach at Texas.
He was in the running for the head coaching position at Tulsa. He interviewed, but the program hired Kevin Wilson.
UNLV is another new challenge that Marion embraces.
“I’ve always been enamored by the UNLV program and its brand because I’ve always had a rebel mindset,” Marion said. “The ability to serve my purpose with our student-athletes and help them reach their full potential on and off the field is a responsibility that I don’t take lightly.”
Marion, 35, coached All-American receiver Jordan Addison at Pitt. He returns to the Mountain West Conference after coaching receivers at Hawaii in 2020. His other stops include William & Mary, Oklahoma Baptist and Arizona State. Marion attended the invitation-only NFL Quarterback Coaching Summit and AFCA 35 Under 35 Leadership Institute.
