Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, took in the Dallas Cowboys-Green Bay Packers game Sunday seated alongside Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi. And it drew some attention.

During the Fox broadcast from at AT&T Stadium, cameras caught Bush and Degeneres sharing a moment and laughing together.

The unlikely pairing of the former president and the comedian led to some ‘Huh?’ posts on Twitter.

Bush and Laura participated in a ceremony with Medal of Honor recipients in the first half of the football game. While DeGeneres and de Rossi were just taking in the game, apparently.

The odd couple did draw some raised eyebrows. During his presidency Bush opposed same-sex marriage, while DeGeneres is a staunch supporter of LGBTQ rights.

Since leaving the office, Bush has had a few odd couple moments, including at least two with former First Lady Michelle Obama. In 2016 Bush and Obama shared an embrace at the opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. and then again last year at the funeral for Sen. John McCain, when he passed her a candy.

Bush has also focused on his painting and used that platform to show his support of the troops.

Starting Monday, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. will exhibit “Portraits of Courage,” a show of the former president’s paintings of men and women who served in the armed forces in the years following 9/11.

Another famous guest at the game according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, taking in the game was former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, who is dating Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Packers went on to beat the Cowboys, 34-24.
