Free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick returns to practice for Steelers
Minkah Fitzpatrick didn’t just return to practice Wednesday after missing the past four games with a hamstring injury. He also was a full participant ahead of their game at 1 p.m. Sunday against Arizona.
That was positive news for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who haven’t had their All-Pro free safety in the lineup since he was injured a month ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Steelers also got good news on the defensive line as nose tackle Montravius Adams was a full practice participant. He has missed three consecutive games with an ankle injury.
The only player not to practice Wednesday because of injury was wide receiver Calvin Austin, who injured his ankle late Sunday in the Steelers’ 16-10 victory at Cincinnati. Quarterback Kenny Pickett, also dealing with an ankle injury, was a full participant.
“It’s something I have to manage,” Pickett said. “It’s not that big of a deal.”
Getting a day of rest were wide receiver Allen Robinson, guard Isaac Seumalo, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and cornerback Patrick Peterson.
