Tanner Rosborough already has made a number of professional appearances.

He had 28 goals during the MLS NEXT regular season and won an MLS NEXT Cup, scoring the game-winning goal in the final.

Be that as it may, Rosborough is only 15 years old. It’s quite obvious, this kid is growing up fast.

A player in the New York Red Bulls Academy over the past year, Rosborough recently signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2024, and an MLS NEXT contract through 2029.

He is a “homegrown” signee meaning he became a member of an MLS club academy, either in the U.S. or Canada — or a Canadian Approved Youth Club — before he turned 15.

Homegrown players can earn up to $125,000 above the reserve minimum salary of $65,500, or the senior minimum salary ($84,000).

The Red Bulls have a young bull and he is showing he can handle the professional life.

A former West Allegheny student, Rosborough played for the Beadling Soccer Club until he was 14.

“Tanner is a talent that will be a very important asset to the club now, and in the future,” Red Bulls coach Ibrahim Sekagya told Soccerwire.com. “He proved through our academy that he has an incredible amount of composure in the final third and an inherent ability to find the back of the net.”

Rosborough lives with a host family in New Jersey. He fired in the go-ahead goal in a 201 win over CF Montreal in the MLS NEXT Cup U-15 championship.

He was named MVP of the tournament.
