JuJu Smith-Schuster versus a sandwich shop. Bill Belichick has a hissy fit. And how to bet on Steelers versus Browns.

Pfft! And you said 2020 brought us nothing good.

Here’s Tuesday’s “First Call.”

JuJu Smith-Schuster…. Yelper

First, the Buffalo Bills. Then, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Now … Primanti Bros.?

Yes, JuJu Smith-Schuster’s latest social media entanglement is with the popular local Pittsburgh sandwich chain.

The Steelers wide receiver didn’t dance on their logo. But he did trash their customer service at the Market Square location.

What’s wrong, JuJu? Too much slaw? Not enough fries? Primanti’s tried to smooth things over.

For the record, having lived downtown for a while, I’ve eaten there on many occasions and never had bad service.

But hey, you know, pandemic n’at? Maybe JuJu’s cap ‘n’ cheese took a little longer than expected and he was late for a TikTok or something.

God forbid.

Speaking of sandwiches

On Monday, we told you that the Indianapolis Colts weren’t happy with the officiating during their loss to the Steelers at Heinz Field.

I think they had a point. That said, I thought the officials missed a few calls where the Steelers deserved a flag in their favor, too.

But Steven Nelson is unhappy about one thrown against him. The Steelers cornerback thought he got jobbed on a pass interference flag which wiped out an interception in the fourth quarter.

Nelson’s complaints should fall on deaf ears. He earned a pass interference flag on the play. Or at least illegal contact. Take a look for yourself. You be the judge. I think Nelson should pick a different battle.

By the way, I’m not sure where Nelson is going with the “sandwich” reference. Maybe JuJu has some suggestions?

Get in now?

If you are someone who doesn’t bet on the NFL regularly, Week 17 is one that can get you hooked, or drive you away forever.

For instance, you can often make big bucks on a game where a team that needs a win to qualify for a playoff spot is playing a club that has no stakes in the outcome.

Or you can get sucked in by a team with very little to play for that rests its starters and loses to an inferior opponent.

Enter Steelers-Browns on Sunday in Cleveland. The 12-3 Steelers are 7-point underdogs to the 10-5 Cleveland Browns according to Oddsshark.com. Even though the Steelers beat the Browns 38-7 earlier in the season, they just beat the 10-5 Colts, and the Browns lost to the 2-13 New York Jets.

The early presumption is that the Steelers will make a lot of front-line players inactive since they are likely to be the third seed, or that they won’t chase being the second seed.

Experienced gamblers may want to have their fingers on the button, ready to take that bet at noon Tuesday just in case head coach Mike Tomlin announces the starters will play before it slides. Otherwise, get in on the Browns now before it gets wider after Tomlin makes any plans known to start Mason Rudolph and other bench performers.

Can you hear me now?

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick challenged a call during his team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills Monday night.

He lost that challenge. And he was not happy with the advice he got to throw the red flag.

More like, Bill “Belichuck,” am I right? Get it??!!

I’m sorry. Actually, that was the wrong video. That was JuJu Smith-Schuster’s reaction when the Market Square Primanti’s got his order wrong.
