Ex-Penn State defenseman Kris Myllari signs with ECHL's Utah Grizzlies
Former Penn State defenseman Kris Myllari has signed a one-year contract with the Utah Grizzlies, ECHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche.
Myllari, 23, spent the past four seasons at Penn State. In 149 career NCAA games, he scored 62 points (19 goals, 43 assists). He ranks first all-time among Penn State defensemen in goals and is second all-time in points.
As a senior in 2020-21, he appeared in 34 games and recorded 10 points (two goals, eight assists).
A native of Kanata, Ontario, Myllari previously spent two seasons with the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League (USHL).
