Fresh off their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys have added about as intriguing of an offensive weapon as an NFL team can in November.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz, former Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant is signing with the team after a workout earlier this week.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver has been out of the NFL for the past four years while serving a suspension in relation to repeated violations of the league’s substance abuse policy. Before that, though, the former Clemson star had a pair of 50-reception seasons in the NFL. He caught 50 passes for 765 yards and five touchdowns for the Steelers in 2015, and caught 50 more passes for 603 yards and six touchdowns in 2017.
He has 145 catches for 2,183 yards and 17 touchdowns.
During his suspension, he has had stops in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Elks, the Fan Controlled Football League and in the XFL with the Vegas Vipers.
Bryant also reportedly had heavy interest from the Tennessee Titans.
Instead, he heads to Dallas to team with Brandin Cooks, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup as targets for Dak Prescott down the stretch.
