Listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week, Joe Haden will return from a four-game absence and start at left cornerback Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their game at Heinz Field against the Tennessee Titans.

Haden had sat out with a foot injury that he sustained against the Detroit Lions. He didn’t take part in a full day of practice until Friday.

With Haden out, the Steelers started James Pierre for two games and then benched him in favor of Ahkello Witherspoon. The Steelers were 1-3 in Haden’s absence.

The Steelers declared five players inactive Sunday: defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs, tight end Kevin Rader, linebacker Buddy Johnson, running back Anthony McFarland and quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

Johnson, who took his first defensive snaps the previous game against Minnesota, was ruled out Friday because of a foot injury. Buggs, who has been slowed by an ankle injury, was downgraded to out Saturday. Rader has a hip injury.

With nose tackle Montravius Adams on the reserve/covid list and Buggs out with his injury, second-year defensive lineman Carlos Davis is active for a game for the second time this season. He hasn’t played since the season opener at Buffalo.

Former Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree was activated from injured reserve Saturday by the Titans, making him eligible to face his former team. The Titans deactivated cornerback Jackrabbit Jenkins, linebackers Joe Jones and David Long, center Daniel Munyer, guard Rodger Saffold and defensive linemen Larrell Murchison and Teair Tart.
