Pitt-Greensburg’s queens of the court cleaned up when the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference postseason awards came out last week.

Sophomore Emily Ruhlman was named the conference player of the year for the second straight season, and Doug Smeltzer was a co-coach of the year recipient.

Six Bobcats players received first- or second-team honors.

Ruhlman was the top player despite missing much of the conference schedule with an injury. She went 3-0 in singles and did not allow a point and also was 3-0 in doubles with sophomore Abigail Rosman.

Junior Miranda Berkabile, Rosman and sophomore Amber Sterrett were first-team picks in singles. They were a combined 18-2. Ruhlman and Rosman made the first team in doubles.
