Former Steelers receiver Antonio Brown recently was cut after playing one game with the New England Patriots.

Antonio Brown apologizes.

This time.

For now.

The embattled wide receiver took to social media Tuesday morning to apologize to the New England Patriots and owner Robert Kraft for “the bad media and the drama !” The apology comes days after Brown met with the NFL to discuss sexual assault allegations against him and his potential future in the league.

Mr.Kraft I apologize sincerely to you and your organization! All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization; sorry for the bad media and the drama ! Thank you sincerely AB pic.twitter.com/oWJCwkrpjk

Brown played one game for the Patriots in September before a slew of allegations surfaced regarding text messages sent to a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct.

Tuesday’s apologetic tweet is the latest chapter in Brown’s NFL saga this season.

The former Steelers receiver has displayed anger toward the NFL, swearing he would never play for the league again. He later backtracked and said the message was sent out of frustration and hopes to work his way back.

I'm just very frustrated right now with the false allegations and slander to my name. I love football and I miss it. I just want to play and I'm very emotional about that. I'm determined to make my way back to the NFL asap
