Andrew McCutchen and his wife, Maria, welcomed their second child, Armani X McCutchen, on Christmas Eve.

The former Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star shared a link to Maria’s Instagram page which announced the baby’s birth.

“Armani X McCutchen Born on Christmas Eve.” she shared on the post. “The X signifies 10 years that Andrew and I have been together. It was the best Christmas ever.”

Armani X is the younger brother to the couple’s first child, Steel, who turned 2 in November.

Andrew McCutchen played nine seasons with the Pirates before being traded to the San Francisco Giants in 2018. He then bounced to the New York Yankees for half a season and is now with the Philadelphia Phillies.

TribLIVE writer John Perrotto named him the best Pirates player of the decade.

McCutchen and his family still call Pittsburgh home and are active in giving back to the community through their organization.

“So much has happened here in this city,” he said earlier this year. “I met my wife here. I got married here. Had kids here and we’re raising a family. So, this is where me and my wife decided to live.”
