2024 Steelers training camp primer: What to know before you head to Saint Vincent College

Time has come again for fans to grab a seat on the hillside or in the bleachers overlooking Chuck Noll Field and cheer on the Black and Gold.

Loyal members of Steelers Nation will flock to Saint Vincent College in Unity over the next three weeks to get a look at the 2024 Pittsburgh Steelers as they conduct training camp workouts on the Westmoreland County campus.

Players report Wednesday and will practice Thursday to kick off the 2024 campaign.

Here’s some useful information if you are planning to attend:

Camp schedule

Steelers training camp commences Thursday at Saint Vincent, and in a new twist, weekday practices will be held in the morning. Here are the practices that are open to the public. Admission is free, but a mobile ticket must be secured online via Ticketmaster.

Thursday: 10:30 a.m.

Friday: 10:30 a.m.

Saturday: 1:55 p.m.

Sunday: 1:55 p.m.

Tuesday: 10:30 a.m.

July 31: 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 1: 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 2: 7 p.m. at Latrobe Memorial Stadium

Aug. 3: 1:55 p.m.

Aug. 4: 1:55 p.m.

Aug. 6: 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 7: 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 8: 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 11: 1:55 p.m.

Aug. 12: 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 14: 10:30 a.m.

How to get around

Saint Vincent College has been home to Steelers training camp since 1966, other than two seasons during the covid pandemic.

Here’s a look at where to find the practice fields, parking lots, concessions, restrooms, fan activities and merchandise areas:

Parking lots open at 7:30 a.m. for the morning practice days, with gates opening at 8 a.m. Lots open at 10:30 a.m. for the afternoon sessions with gates open at 11 a.m.

Parking is free. The lot entrance is located at the intersection of Saint Vincent Drive and Brouwers Road.
