Positive covid-19 cases remain low in Etna, Millvale

As coronavirus cases spike in Allegheny County, Etna has only reported four cases since March.

In the course of that same time frame, Shaler has reported 38 positive cases and Millvale has just five, according to the latest data from the Allegheny County Health Department’s map.

In those same municipalities, 217 tests have been administered in Etna, 1,031 in Shaler and 166 in Millvale.

A Pennsylvania Department of Health map breaks down cases by ZIP code.

In the 15223 ZIP code, which spans Glenshaw, Etna and Undercliff, has 10 positive cases.

The 15209 ZIP code, which covers Ross Township, Millvale, a portion of Shaler Township and Reserve Township has 15 positive cases.

And in the 15116 ZIP code, which also covers a portion of Shaler Township as well as Glenshaw, Hampton Township, Ross Township, O’Hara and Wittmer, 16 positive cases have been reported to date.
