Letter to the editor: Why are teachers being vaccinated?

So we are vaccinating teachers and workers in local school districts? According to the state’s own website, that is phase 1B. We are still in phase 1A. So a bunch of younger people at low risk of problems even if they get the disease are getting preference over elderly people who are the ones at high risk. Nice. I wonder how many health care workers are still waiting?
