Letter to the editor: When voting, don't dwell on transgressions
Regarding the letter “Why does Trump have so much hate?” (Sept. 25, TribLive): Ephesians 4:32 tells us to be kind-hearted to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ, also has forgiven you.
When we contemplate the most effective candidate for our country, we must look forward and not dwell on transgressions. As Christ mentions in Matthew 7: 3-5, “why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye, but not in your own eye?” This passage in the Bible warns against hypocrisy. Franklin Graham, the evangelical son of Billy Graham, stands strong with Donald Trump.
