The stories published on the front pages of the Nov. 15 and 16 print editions (“Thousands make stand for Trump” and “ ‘He won’ tweet nods to Trump acceptance”) are editorial in nature and should have been put in the editorial section.
Good journalism would not use one-sided descriptors like “spurious” and “baseless” (“supporters of President trump rallied … behind his spurious claims” and “Trump’s statements came in tweets that included baseless claims …”). These words should not have been included, as newspaper journalism is “writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or description of events without an attempt at interpretation.”
I don’t believe the Associated Press should be used for content, as it is not unbiased journalism. Please remove the AP from your sources.
