Letter to the editor: Voting Kurimsky for Franklin Regional board

I have never written a letter to the editor before. However, I feel compelled to do that in support of Kevin Kurimsky and his run for the Franklin Regional School Board director seat.

I first met Kurimsky as a young boy learning to ride his bike on our front street in Heather Highlands. I have known him and his family for more than 40 years. I have watched him grow up, attend Franklin Regional High School and Colgate University, then settle down in Murrysville to raise his family. He has always been intelligent and hard-working.

I know that Kurimsky has great respect for the value of education and is especially proud of his days at Franklin Regional. He will make an excellent school director. He has his feet solidly on the ground and will make good decisions for the benefit of the Franklin Regional School District.

I’m going to vote for Kurimsky. I hope you will, too.
