Letter to the editor: Vote Zellers for new leadership

I am writing in support of Leslie Uncapher Zellers for district judge. The incumbent judge in District 10-1-04 is touting her 28-plus years in office as the reason we should vote for her. After nearly three decades in office from this career politician, it is time to give this office new leadership.

To advocate for change is not a backhanded character insult, nor is it gaslighting. It is far past time for change, and finally we have a candidate who is not only qualified and experienced, but who truly cares about our communities and our families. Her record of advocacy for individuals, families and children, and her record of community service, speak for themselves.

I strongly recommend Zellers for district judge. Our citizens deserve a full-time effort from a professional who is above reproach.
