Letter to the editor: US needs secure borders

I believe secured borders would help reduce corruption in the country. Border security would help control the goods that come in and go out of the country. As a result, many people would feel secure because they will be assured that anything they are interacting with came into the country legally.

People who visit America need to follow all security procedures to ensure that they are without any criminal records that would affect the country negatively. Such practices enable the U.S. to stay vigilant and keep improving our security.

A secured country encourages development and growth in all sectors of the economy. U.S. citizens should support the idea through voting, as it helps air their views and opinions.
