Letter to the editor: Surprised by Biden's incompetence?

If you are beginning to have doubts about Joe Biden’s competence, I can only wonder what took you this long. Maybe you weren’t aware of his many bone-headed blunders over the course of four-plus decades in Washington. How he was forced into an embarrassing admission to plagiarizing a speech from a British politician during his first presidential run. Or how he lied about his college credentials, or how several women accused him of sexual misconduct. Surely you were aware of his numerous racially insensitive comments regarding Blacks and Indians, right? No? Nothing?

Well, maybe his epic Afghanistan withdrawal failure has finally introduced you to the real Joe Biden. Not to mention his subsequent jaw-dropping statements that contradict the visual and testimonial evidence, even by members of his own team. Jen Psaki, at her press briefings, is spinning so fast she is making us all dizzy.

Democrats are predictably doing their best to paint the withdrawal mess as the unavoidable result of a mismanaged war for the past 20 years. Don’t fall for it. Remember who occupied the vice presidency for eight of those years.
