Letter to the editor: Stopping an ungodly agenda
The lies, deception and corruption occurring in America today are of biblical proportions. The assault on our psychological, intellectual, physical and spiritual existence is vicious and relentless. We are in the fight of our lives against the powers of darkness.
History proves that in this fiercely competitive and corrupt world, the cream does not rise to the top. Just because a person wears a white medical lab coat does not mean he or she is concerned with our health and well-being. Just because someone wears a black judicial robe does not mean justice and the rule of law are that person’s goals. Just because a person wears a clerical collar does not mean he or she aspires to that which is holy. And just because a primped talking head tells you something on the television does not mean it has anything to do with the truth.
We’re in an age of unabated mass distraction where there is no down time to refresh the mind and nourish the soul. Many think they are awake to reality, but their eyes are wide shut. They are deluded by smoke and mirrors, sated by bread and circuses, and mesmerized by the never-ending nonsense streaming through every screen.
Gore Vidal said, “There are a great many people who have a vested interest in maintaining the stupidity of the American public.” And the devil is in the details. Thankfully, the ungodly agenda of these ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing is being exposed … and we can stop them.
