Hardly a day passes when I don’t encounter the term democratic socialism, but what is it?

Democratic socialism is the socialist hucksters’ latest name for their snake oil. It is galley slaves voting for their drummer. It benefits those who ride the ship for free, those who gain a temporary infusion of moral self-esteem from passing out free rides, and finally, the dictator and his henchmen who eventually take command of the ship.

Everyone else is a galley slave, rowing slower and slower, until the drummer has no audience. Then the free-riders and do-gooders are left at sea while the life boats are lowered for the dictator.
