Letter to the editor: Power is Democrats' goal

Joe Biden asks if he looks like a “radical socialist.” I say no, but, he does look much like a socialistic Trojan horse ready for the glue factory.

Letter-writers can present believable cases, left or right. What I’ve concluded, though, is a group has taken over the Democratic Party to the point that it no longer is a party of our forefathers. I was once told Democrats were for the people. Today, it appears this “party” is for themselves with no regard for political ideology and representing “people.” Power seems to be their only goal, and there are many issues that this “party” has dreamed up.

So, people, you have a choice to make: In my opinion, either you support turning this country into one with socialist and eventually communist rule, or you support the Constitution and a capitalistic government. There is no optional middle government today. Either destroy our American way of life by aiding and abetting dissidents of all sorts, or keep the Constitution and all that has been beneficial to our American way of life for centuries. It may not be an ideal way of life, but better than most.

It is your vote. To our military vets, et al., who have grudges against this president for a number of reasons, set them aside for now and evaluate what is at stake with this election. Do you once again save our country? Or do you believe what the left is saying?
