Letter to the editor: NYT failures proof media out of control

Tribune-Review

The New York Times has admitted that it failed to include certain facts in its Sept. 15 article claiming Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh committed sexual misconduct during his college years at Yale 30 years ago.

The article said a classmate, Max Stier, claimed Kavanaugh exposed himself to a female at a party. But the NYT did not mention that the alleged victim refused to corroborate the story, and that she told friends she had no recollection of the incident. The writers have said both facts were in the original article but were deleted by editors.

Stier was on President Bill Clinton’s defense team during his impeachment. Any bias there?

In my opinion, this is the second liberal Democrat hoax to explode in the past two months, the Mueller-Russia investigation being the other.

The New York Times’ admissions are proof that the fake news media is out of control. All editors of all newspapers should condemn these failures.
