Letter to the editor: Nothing to see here
The letter “Questioning mental health of Trump, Greene” (June 17, TribLIVE), a pseudo-psychologist analysis of our former president and current Pelosi- shamed congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, which also reviles us knuckle-dragging Republicans, brings to mind the Bard’s coined phrase “methinks thou doth protest too much.”
Or perhaps I misinterpreted the author’s true intent of soliciting for an open position in the Biden administration, that of GPS coordinator to help Vice President Kamala Harris locate our southern border.
As to 27 mental health professionals claiming Trump a “clear and present danger,” that’s akin to counting the number of clowns exiting a vehicle in the center ring of a Barnum & Bailey Circus, all proclaiming they drove safely, whilst Joe Biden’s Rorschach test results came back unsubstantiated due to narcolepsy.
The author met the Wikipedia challenge of structuring a sentence incorporating the word “phantasmagorical,” used to describe his perception of Trump conspiracy theories. That sir, qualifies you as CNN field reporter for those moments when, while fires are raging, looting is in full bore, bullets are flying, cops and elderly Asians are being beaten on screen, you are reporting “nothing but peaceful enthusiasm on display here folks; now back to the studio for a follow-up lead story: Was that a polyp or did Joe have a thought?”
Can some Democrat please play the role of Nero while our country burns? I thought of Hillary Clinton given her Benghazi role, but maybe she’s too busy BleachBitting Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Nothing to see here, there, everywhere. Just move along.
