Letter to the editor: Not buying into global warming fear

Good fear, bad fear, birthed by truth, or, alternatively, lies. Good fear brings action and remedy. Bad brings chaos, fear and destruction.

Global warming, truth or lie? Democrats say carbon dioxide levels are the greatest threat to life as we know it. To quantify the threat, think Heinz Field with an audience of less than 20. The permissible level of rodent droppings in your favorite breakfast cereal is higher.

An hour or so drive north of downtown Pittsburgh is Moraine State Park. The moraine is the geological disruption left on the landscape by the edge of the glacier from the Ice Age which ended less than 12,000 years ago. The Earth has been warming for millions of years, and anyone who loses sleep over it doesn’t deserve a belly button.

Tell the liars who only want to control you to be as overcome with sheer terror as they wish, but you’re not buying.
