Letter to the editor: Media vs. America

Readers who still think the 2020 elections are Biden versus Trump are wrong. This election is the media versus America.

The outright hatred shown by the media toward Donald Trump and his supporters is beyond anything seen in modern history. Data from many sources show that more than 90% of news articles in 2020 are negative toward Trump, with less than 2% positive.

Many people do not know that the mainstream media and the Democratic Party have an incestuous relationship. Some anchors and journalists are either married into the party or married to ex-Democratic staffers. Savannah Guthrie, who served as moderator for a recent Trump town hall, is married to Michael Feldman, a former chief of staff for Vice President Al Gore. In my opinion, she acted like an angry feminist, constantly talking over Trump, interrupting and attacking him.

George Stephanopoulos, the Biden questioner, is a former Democratic Party adviser and communications director for President Bill Clinton. He asked Biden nothing of substance, never interrupted or talked over him, and treated him like a junior high leading lady.

Many others in the media are former Democratic political activists. They blame Trump for every evil, including the coronavirus deaths, even thought it was the Democratic governors who locked our senior citizens in nursing homes, then forced those homes to accept infected patients. More than 85% of all coronavirus deaths occurred in nursing homes because of these Democrat decrees, yet somehow it’s Trump’s fault. Baloney.

Americans need to understand that the so-called news they are being fed is nothing but Democratic propaganda.
