Letter to the editor: Maybe Trump supporters don't know the facts

Tribune-Review

Demographic studies categorically reveal that a large segment of President Trump’s supporters have a high school education at best, don’t read newspapers or news magazines, and don’t watch the evening news or news programs. Their lone contact with Trump supporters occurs when he is spewing lies about election fraud at his rallies.

They seem to be unaware of the following:

• Pro-Trump appointee Attorney General William Barr said the Department of Justice found no evidence of election fraud.

• Federal judges, many Republican and Trump appointees, rejected more than 50 claims of election fraud throughout the states.

• The U.S. Supreme Court, composed of six conservatives — three appointed by Trump — and three liberals likewise twice rejected election fraud charges.

• Even the Republican governor and secretary of state of Georgia rejected Trump’s fraud claims.

All cases were rejected because of no evidence or proof.

No wonder his supporters are up in arms — maybe they don’t know these facts, and just blindly follow him. They seem to be unable to accept his defeat, which, in my opinion, was caused by his unstable and obnoxious behavior.

Their man has been “fired” and is now the “loser” in a 306-232 electoral vote that has shocked them to the core.
