Letter to the editor: Making sense of governor's covid-19 rules
Once again the governor issues some head-scratching rules. The large venue limits make no sense at all. Why in the world would he cap 7,500 in a nearly 70,000 seat stadium (Heinz Field)? Looking at the numbers that he seemed to pull out of a hat, there would actually be less room and people would be closer to other people in the smaller venues. Dallas allows 20,000 in an 80,000 seat stadium. And it looks empty.
Maybe some day the governor will write his memoirs and explain some of his confusing thinking. Because it will take well into his retirement to figure out what the heck he does on some of these rules. I can only guess that every evening he and Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine watch the movie “Clueless” and then become just that.
