Letter to the editor: Mail-in voting safeguards work
I disagree with the comment in the letter “Mail-in voting problems” (May 31, TribLIVE) about mail-in voting ballots not being received. I mailed mine and was surprised to get a letter stating that the birth date on my license was not the same as I listed on my ballot. I never noticed the year was incorrect; no one ever caught the error. I was told that I could not vote. So they are doing their job.
