Regarding the article “Replace hard-to-read license plates at event in Harrison” (March 26, TribLIVE): It’s about time!

It’s a shame that people pay a high price for their license plate every year and pay extremely high gas taxes and have to wait so long to get the attention of Harrisburg to get them replaced. I said when they started doing a photo pay for the turnpike they would lose a fortune, which they did. That money lost could have paid for replacement of the plates.

This is typical of the way Pennsylvania operates. I hope it will change now with our new governor.
