Letter to the editor: Leftists destroying America

The Biden/Harris administration is rapidly destroying America as we know it with the full cooperation of congressional Democrats.

President Biden started the process on Day 1 in office with a series of executive orders limiting domestic oil production. This resulted in a rapid spike in energy prices. We are now looking at potential $6/gallon or higher gasoline prices. Diesel prices are at record high levels with looming shortages affecting the price of all consumer goods.

We have runaway inflation eroding buying power, a stock market in rapid decline wiping out retirement savings, unsecure borders resulting in an invasion of illegal immigrants of unknown origins, large quantities of deadly drugs pouring into the country across the southern border, killing tens of thousands of our citizens, American citizens still stranded in Afghanistan, left behind in Biden’s disastrous military pullout, and war in Ukraine that could potentially spill into NATO countries drawing us in militarily.

In my opinion, this administration is made up of a collection of unqualified individuals chosen because of their far-left ideology, not based on their experience or expertise in the departments they control; they have no plans or intention to reverse the policies causing the multiple problems we are facing. We are destined to look like Venezuela if major policy changes aren’t made soon.

This November, we have an opportunity to remove these radical leftists from power at all levels and restore sanity to our government. I hope we don’t miss this opportunity. There may not be another.
