Letter to the editor: Jane Fonda, unions

Tribune-Review

Two things in the Sept. 25 edition caught my eye.

Kenneth Nath’s letter ”Can’t forgive Jane Fonda” (Sept. 24, TribLIVE) was spot on. About the only thing I can think of to do to Fonda is spit on her. While she was playing with the enemy’s guns, my friends were dying on the battlefields of Vietnam. Mr. Nath, thank you for your service.

Regarding the article “Westmoreland County sued over requirement that union workers complete major projects” Sept. 24, TribLIVE): The only way to end this is to get the two people who back this out of office. Don’t be like the United Mine Workers, who were told by Richard Trumka to vote for President Obama. Ill bet a lot of miners who no longer have their jobs are rethinking that. But Trumka still has his union job.
