Letter to the editor: Incompetence meets evil under Biden

President Biden’s election and subsequent cabinet appointments were supposed to usher in experienced, competent adults to lead our country. Instead, we have:

• A president who I believe is in cognitive decline who pulled our troops out of Afghanistan, leaving behind American citizens and America-friendly Afghans at the mercy of the Taliban terrorists. Billions of dollars worth of high-grade military weapons were also left behind to the terrorists’ delight.

• A nearly invisible vice president in charge of border security. Tens of thousands of unvetted illegals are flooding into our country and exposing our citizens to drugs, disease and crime. They are afforded all of life’s necessities free of charge with no requirement to be vaccinated. Our taxes pay for their free stuff while we are given the ultimatum to either be vaccinated or lose our jobs and privileges.

• Parents are displaying their outrage at public school board meetings after learning that their children are being exposed to borderline pornography, and the fomenting of racial tension. Instead of dealing with escalating tension and threats against school board members on a local level, our attorney general is involved and accusing some deeply concerned parents of being domestic terrorists and threatening to unleash the wrath of the FBI on them.

These are but a few examples of what I believe to be the perfect storm of total incompetence meeting with evil intentions. It is seriously threatening our way of life and the very fabric of our country.
