Letter to the editor: Ideas for dealing with rioters
In this letter I use two portmanteau words. A portmanteau is a word blended from two distinct words, such as crack and addict to form craddict, and dead and derriere to form deadierre.
I, and many of my fellow Americans, are fed up with the anarchy that prevails in many of our major cities and at our southern border. We are fed up with the left-wing fake newscasters telling us the riots are mostly peaceful when we often see fires raging in the background and “peaceful” participants gleefully tossing missives and smashing storefronts and carting off TVs, computers, appliances and apparel. Surely they sense the inanity of their reporting.
Since our leaders remain on their deadierres, I suggest an approach to end the senseless mayhem:
1. Organize and employ strike forces, e.g. 82nd Airborne riot dispersion units, to quell the anarchists and incarcerate those “darn kids.”
2. Use National Guard units to patrol the areas to maintain order.
3. Vote out the Democratic regimes that have a stranglehold on our cities.
As far as the crisis at our southern border, where uninnoculated migrants and illegal drugs seem to be flowing unimpeded, our lethargic president assigned our vice president to handle the situation and, as of May 1, she has yet to make an appearance. Just as many find absentee voting to be suspect, absentee management is more so.
And when does the fake news provide us with an expose of the contents of the president’s craddict son’s laptop?
