The article “‘Tidal wave’: Pittsburgh abortion clinics see influx of out-of-state patients” (July 8, TribLIVE) features an apparent abortionist at a “clinic” (a questionable use of the word, considering what they do) in East Liberty that has seen a threefold increase in demand for abortions.

Another article describes how “impassioned” (“Catholic”) President Joe Biden is pleading, “for God’s sake,” for people to go and vote (“Biden signs order on abortion access after high court ruling,” July 8, TribLIVE). I take that to mean, for Democrats, so legislation can be passed to make abortion unrestricted, nationwide, up to the moment of birth.

Angry, ugly mobs are demonstrating in the streets, screaming obscenities and terrifying Supreme Court justices and their families at their homes. This, because the justices finally confirmed that there is nothing in the Constitution that defines abortion as a protected right, and that its legality should be decided locally by the individual states.

How has such a grisly procedure garnered so much godlike worship and fervor? How has the uncivilized slaughter of babies gained so much near fanatical support for no limitations? Have we as a country lost our conscience? Have we as a society lost our souls? How much longer can a society that has become so fanatical about continuing the frivolous destruction of its young endure?
