Letter to the editor: Have pride and protect us all from coronavirus

For all of those who don’t believe how serious this virus is: Do you think all who died wanted this? Put yourself in the shoes of the nurses and other medical professionals who work to save lives. They do what they can with what they have until a cure comes. This isn’t just the common cold; it’s not the flu, or something you get because you’re old.

We need to help win this fight by wearing masks and staying apart. It’s not a cure, but it’s a start. So if you really don’t have pride, then just stay inside to protect all of those who do. If we don’t stand together, we may not be here.

For those of you who don’t believe, I hope you never have to grieve for someone you have lost who wasn’t protected.
