It’s easy to get bogged down with negative news, which is why I’m writing with a positive story. A few days ago, I went to the farmers market in Lower Burrell. I bought a few things and then I left. Eventually, I noticed that I was missing my debit card, but I didn’t think much about it. It would turn up someplace eventually.
The next morning, a policeman knocked at my door. He brought me my debit card and $60 that I apparently had dropped. An honest farmer turned it in to an honest policeman. WOW! I am filled with gratitude that there are still plenty of honest people in this world.
I like living in Lower Burrell. I am friendly to the people who live here, and I certainly feel a renewed sense of goodness. Thank you to the farmer. I wish I knew his or her name. And thank you to Officer Vincent Sekanick.
