Letter to the editor: GOP has gone insane

Republicans have weaponized the Supreme Court with the overturning of Roe v. Wade. I see this as the first move in a projected series to strip Americans of reproductive and other individual rights that will include the right not only to safe abortions without exception, even for rape, incest or if the life of the mother is at risk, but also for the use of any form of birth control, and same-sex marriage. Apparently the only reason interracial marriage is not on the table (yet) is because that would personally affect Justice Clarence Thomas and his traitorous wife, Ginni.

Sens. Tom Cotton and Rick Scott are shoring up Herschel Walker’s failing Senate bid after reports that he paid for an abortion, in an attempt to “save the attacks against Georgia family values.” Disgusting! And many Republican candidates for Congress and the Senate are still hunkering down on President Trump’s lies of a stolen election — while our own Westmoreland County commissioners refuse to allow a free and fair election by refusing to allow even one drop box for the county. The hypocrisy is overwhelming!

The GOP has gone insane and is showing their true colors. When they openly tell you who they are, believe them. Vote Democrat in November!
