Letter to the editor: Game commission should be investigated
After this big hunting license blunder (“Pa. hunters experience long lines virtually, in person on 1st day of Game Commission license sales,” June 26, TribLIVE), I think the time has come for the Pennsylvania attorney general to start looking into the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s good ol’ boys club.
We hunters have been told that license sales are really going well, but after this mess, I don’t see how they can say that. A lot of other states have game and fish commissions together; the game commission has balked at this. Is it because they are making too much money and don’t want to share the wealth? Well, your guess is as good as mine. I am just wondering how much flack I will get from this letter.
