Letter to the editor: Flexible Constitution

Since we Americans are living in the land of make-believe, I figured there would be no problem in making up some information, in homage to the brainwashing tactics of the three- or four-letter media many adore.

As you know, it’s our constitutional right to believe what we want since the document is now so “flexible” and seemingly can be shaped to fit any and all needs. This allows everyone to have their own personal set of rules.

In some versions of this “rubbery and stretchy” document, looting, burning and violence is permitted, as long as your cause is just.

You may even beat and rob someone, then sue them because you tripped running out their door. Glorious!

As you know, the Constitution’s 29th Amendment allows you to believe any story, which your favorite news source reports, without question or verification. Then you can take your newfound “facts” and spread them to anyone who will listen. Delightful!

Isn’t it great living in America’s la-la land? You know, back-to-back World War champs and all. How about the asylum law that lets some people just walk across a border and jump ahead of others who have been waiting for years to enter though an archaic (but effective) process called “legal immigration”?

All of this glorious stuff and the 30th Amendment, the right to cancel and destroy, those you disagree with. It can’t get better than this.

Just think, soon we’ll have 330 million separate sets of rules. Just as the Founders intended.
