Letter to the editor: Finfrock best for Greensburg

Tribune-Review

Randy Finfrock, as head of Greensburg City Council’s accounts and finance for the past 10 years, has delivered as promised: no tax increase — with no cuts to city services. His unparalleled list of noteworthy accomplishments and qualifications, as he seeks a fourth term as one of our city councilmen, includes four years on the Greensburg Planning Commission (two as chair) and co-authoring our home rule charter while chairman of Home Rule Commission.

His dedication to helping our community is equally impressive: numerous leadership roles during his 33 years as a member of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department, Greensburg Hempfield Area Library board, Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival board member, and SummerSounds board member. He also helped develop our city’s recycling plan.

In addition, this 1969 Greensburg Salem graduate is well educated. Finfrock holds a political science degree from Indiana University (Bloomington) and an MBA from California University of Pennsylvania. He has also earned doctoral credits in economics from Northcentral University.

Why Finfrock? The answer is exceptional credentials, including experience, education and a commitment to public service. Not to mention a lifetime of community involvement.

City residents, please join me in re-electing Randy Finfrock to Greensburg City Council Nov. 5. Finfrock isGreensburg.
