Letter to the editor: Far-left subversion

Tribune-Review

Tending or intending to subvert or overthrow, destroy or undermine an established or existing system, especially a legally constituted government or set of beliefs.

The above is Webster’s definition of a subversive. The actions of the far left running up to the recent election fit this definition. Remember the radicals who stated “we will burn America to the ground”? The far left is determined to change the very soul and foundation of our democracy. How many of these radicals are actually U.S. citizens? If they are not citizens, the First Amendment should not give them immunity from prosecution.

At no time have I referenced Democrats. True Democrats do not support the far left.

True Democrats represent the working man. Remember them, the 48% of Americans who actually pay taxes, support their communities, have religious beliefs, commit to the family unit, teach their children morals and respect for others, and help those who are unable to help themselves? Unlike the far left, they do not believe the government owes them anything.

It is time for all Americans who believe in these values to come together. If we do, the goals of the far left will not be achieved. Urge your congressmen to publicly renounce the far left and vote “nay” on their agenda.
