Letter to the editor: Doom and gloom
The good of the world may be balanced out with bad. Wouldn’t it be funny if all the religions of the world had the same God?
TV preachers and politicians prey on the weak for donations. Some TV preachers have a net worth of over $7 million. Talk about profiting from the word of God. They should only keep 10% and give the rest to the poor.
Political donations are legalized bribery. The love of money is stronger than party and country, or even doing what’s right or for the good of the country. The only thing that matters is the donors’ donations.
There is a lot of doom and gloom out there with our national debt, inflation and gun violence. The hate, lies, hopelessness and fear eat away at our sanity. Abortion and guns are big money-maker issues for politicians; they get all the suckers to donate. Abortions vs. raising a child with no love.
It all reminds me of Donald J. Trump and Adolf Hitler.
This world can be heaven, hell and purgatory at the same time. How cruel man can be. How Putin and other dictators are someone’s hero. What some people believe in and follow to their graves is scary. Our national debt and weird weather may bring the world to its knees.
