Letter to the editor: Don't we care about what's going on?

America is home of the losers, suckers and very stupid. Are we a people who believe everything we hear on social media and out of President Trump’s mouth? We don’t seem to look for the truth, or care. Life is not a reality show.

When the people don’t care about laws, ethics, morals and high debt, that civilization is near its end. Look at history and what happened with Hitler.

Your vote is a reflection on your beliefs, and you are responsible for what the person you voted for does in office. Your vote has power and consequences.

In my opinion, Trump uses hate, lies, fear and hopelessness to divide our nation. America will never be great again because the politicians don’t want it to be great. I bet he probably will double our national debt in his first term. Why do I have to live under so much fear about what this president will do? Every day for four years — what that does to your mind …

I think one day our world currency is going to be replaced. Is the pandemic and global warming a wake-up call? Both will affect world crop and food production.
