Letter to the editor: Creation vs. evolution

Since becoming a reborn Christian in 2014, I subscribe to “Answers in Genesis” and Creation Ministries. I recently attended Creation Ministries’ Creation 2022 Superconference in Myrtle Beach. I would suggest all lapsed Christians visit their websites. Here are a few of their comments:

Marine fossils have been found on every mountain.

The 1980 Mt. St. Helens volcano has been radiometric dated to be between 350,000 and 2.8 million years old.

There have been 58 soft-tissue and blood discoveries in dinosaur fossils.

Diamonds should not contain carbon 14 but do.

Comets should’ve all burned out by now.

Our moon should’ve left our gravity field by now.

There hasn’t been enough time for us to see light from distant stars.

All climate predictions have been wrong.

The Great Flood affected all dating methods.

Science should explain how God created everything, not explain how he didn’t.
