Letter to the editor: Celebrating 150 years of the NRA

We are celebrating 150 years of America’s longest standing civil rights organization, the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA works on gun safety, police and civilian shooting club programs and has reached over 32 million young Americans.

Here are quotes from three life member presidents:

• “The right of the citizen to keep and bear arms must not be infringed if liberty in America is to survive.” — President Reagan
