Letter to the editor: Biden's pride and destruction

Proverbs tells us that pride precedes the fall and a haughty spirit leads to destruction, but for Joe Biden, that seems to be plausibly deniable. Like the cartoon character Mr. Magoo, he leaves a path of destruction behind while he blindly fumbles through his daily duties as the most powerful man in the world, seemingly oblivious to the carnage he leaves behind.

What should be most troubling to Americans is how Biden manages to get the DOJ and the FBI to look the other way from Biden’s family ties to China, Russia, the Ukraine and others when bank records show they received millions from foreign adversaries for doing what seems like nothing to earn the money. Instead federal law enforcers are investigating everyday Americans who are simply objecting to cultural rot that is destroying our country from within by heavy-handed Democratic operatives.

People of faith know that God opposes the proud and the way to his blessings is to be humble. We used to call that common sense.

Unfortunately, Biden hasn’t figured that out yet, but it is just a matter of time before he will.
